“I created the Sound of Madness.
Wrote the book on pain.
Somehow I’m
still here,
To explain,
That the darkest hour never comes in the night.
You can sleep with a gun.
When you gonna wake up and fight… for
yourself?”

Those lyrics are from a song by Shinedown, Sound of Madness. I have had this song looping all morning long as it has given me some inspiration and re-enforcing my idea of taking the plunge on the housing situation and going with the flow. Brings a little bit of motivation to some rough decisions that have to be made.

The negotiations have been difficult for this in the past few days and it’s really shed some light on how cut throat the real estate business can be. The agents are pushy, the truth is stretched daily, and its difficult to take people’s word on things. Starts to make me think about the idea of having my own business. Do I want to have the mindset that everyone I run into is a potential client or prospect? I’ve done consulting for a real estate agent for some time now, and I see that is how he approaches each and every introduction. I get the same vibe from the real estate agent I am buying the condo with.

More to come later.
