I recently had the opportunity to take a crash course in the Corelytics Financial Dashboard from CoreConnex. CoreConnex Co-Founder and Executive Vice President Tony Lael walked me through some of the features of the dashboard and where the product is headed. For those who are not familiar with the Corelytics, it’s a product that is targeted at IT solution providers to help get a grip on the financial aspect of the business. The product integrates well with AutoTask and ConnectWise, as well as with Quickbooks. There are also special editions that are available for users of the previously mentioned applications. From what I understand, development is underway to support integration with more applications such as Peachtree.
The dashboard fills a nice gap that is left behind in the job and issue tracking software. It also provides forecasting that Quickbooks lacks. The product also gives some real time financial benchmarking provided by the Service Leadership Index. The information provided there can be very eyeopening for an MSP. From some initial discussions I’ve had with people it seems as if the gap that Corelytics fills is one that the business owner may not even know they have. It’s not until the data would get loaded into the Corelytics system that you would start to see some drains and high points.
